Shirley Temple / Dirty Shirley
A fun and refreshing Shirley Temple recipe that's perfect for all ages, with an easy Dirty Shirley cocktail variation for adults. Sweet, fizzy, and perfect for any celebration!
Ingredients
- 2 cups ginger ale or lemon-lime soda for a sweeter version
- 1-2 tablespoons grenadine syrup adjust to taste
- Juice of half a lime optional
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges or orange slices for garnish
- Fresh mint leaves optional, for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the ginger ale (or lemon-lime soda) over the ice.
- Drizzle grenadine syrup gently over the drink. It will sink to the bottom, creating a lovely gradient effect.
- If you like a hint of tartness, squeeze in the juice of half a lime.
- Top with a maraschino cherry, and if you'd like, add a lime wedge or an orange slice for extra color and flavor. You can also add a sprig of fresh mint for a festive touch.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious and festive Holiday Shirley Temple!
