Sausage Delight
This delightful recipe, made with store-bought crescent rolls, sausage, and cream cheese, is a gem that has graced my family's table for decades.
Ingredients
- 2 cans crescent rolls get the sheets If you can
- 1 lb ground sausage cooked and drained
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 egg beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Spray bottom of 9x13 pan with oil.
- Spread 1 can of crescent rolls on bottom of pan, pinching together seams (if you have the sheets you can skip this part).
- Bake for 8-9 minutes.
- Mix cooked sausage and cream cheese and spread over baked crescent crust.
- Spread second can of crescents over sausage mixture, pinching at seams.
- Brush top with egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
