This Cheese Ball is a Crowd Pleaser
Growing up, Aunt Jamie’s cheese ball made an appearance at countless gatherings. Its creamy, flavorful goodness was always a crowd-pleaser. I decided to recreate this classic cheese ball with a hand mixer instead of a food processor (that’s what Aunt Jamie always used), and the result did not disappoint.
Ingredients for Cheese Ball
- 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened
- 8oz block of sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- crackers for serving
Instructions
- Combine cream cheese and cheddar In a food processor or using a hand mixer
- Place plastic wrap on the counter and spoon the cheese onto the plastic wrap. Wrap plastic around the cheese and form Into a ball.
- Freeze for a minimum of 1 hour
- Unwrap cheese and roll In pecans
- Freeze or refrigerate until serving. Serve at room temperature
