If you’re looking for a quick and delicious pork recipe for dinner, these Pork Tenderloin Medallions are a game-changer. Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, they’re perfect for a busy weeknight or a backyard summer grilling session. Plus, this meal is a great option if you’re after healthy pork medallion recipes that the whole family will love. Why Pork Tenderloin Medallions?

Pork tenderloin is one of the leanest and most tender cuts of pork, making it a fantastic choice for healthy dinner recipes for the family. Cutting the tenderloin into medallions allows for even cooking and a beautiful sear, whether you choose to grill, pan-fry, or air fry them.

Not to mention, pork tenderloin is a fantastic high-protein option that pairs well with a variety of seasonings, so you can easily customize it with different flavor profiles.

Tips for Cooking Perfect Pork Medallions

Getting juicy and flavorful pork medallions is all about technique. Here are some key tips to keep in mind:

  • Trim the Silverskin – Before cutting your pork into medallions, be sure to remove the silverskin. This is the tough, silver-colored membrane on the tenderloin that won’t break down during cooking.
  • Season Generously – The combination of Italian and Ranch dressing mix creates a flavorful crust on the pork. Be sure to coat both sides evenly.
  • Use the Right Heat – Whether grilling or using a cast iron pan, medium-high heat is ideal for achieving a nice sear while keeping the inside juicy.
  • Don’t Overcook – The key to juicy pork is not overcooking it! A meat thermometer is essential here. Pork tenderloin should be cooked to an internal temperature of 150°F and then rested for 5 minutes. The residual heat will bring it up to a perfect 155°F, ensuring tender and juicy pork every time.
  • Let It Rest – Allowing the pork to rest after cooking helps the juices redistribute, keeping every bite flavorful and moist.
