Pulled Pork Sliders
Great for A Crowd
Pulled pork sliders are a go-to crowd-pleaser, and this recipe is no exception. Using budget-friendly pork butt or shoulder, this dish is not only delicious but also easy on the wallet. The secret to its incredible flavor lies in the slow cooking process, allowing the meat to become tender and infused with all the savory seasonings.
Insanely Easy
What sets this recipe apart is its simplicity. With just a few ingredients and minimal prep time, you can have a mouthwatering meal ready to impress. The meat is slow-cooked until it’s fall-apart tender, then shredded and piled high on a soft roll. Adding the sweet, crunch slaw balances out the tender savory pork perfectly.
Ingredients for Pulled Pork Sliders
Pulled Pork
- 1 Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast with BBQ seasoning (I got mine at Aldi)
- ½ cup water
- Hawaiian Sweet Rolls or Brioche Buns
Coleslaw
- 14oz bag of classic coleslaw (shredded cabbage & carrots)
- ¼ cup plain yogurt
- ⅓ cup mayo
- 2 TBSP lemon or lime juice
- 2 TBSP white vinegar
- 1 TBSP white sugar
Instructions
- Into your pressure cooker, add the roast and water
- Seal and set for high pressure for 1 hour 45 minutes
- Prepare the slaw by mixing all of the ingredients in a resealable container then place it in the refrigerator until it is time to serve
- Once the roast is done, release the steam and shred the meat
- To serve, top buns with meat and slaw to make sandwiches
Use the slow cooker instead of the pressure cooker. Cook meat with water for 5-6 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low or until meat shreds easily.
