  • 1 large or 2 small flank steaks (about 1.5 lbs total)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 TBSP chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 TBSP olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ½ TBSP soy sauce or coconut aminos for GF

For Serving: 

  • Corn tortillas
  • Pico de gallo
  • Creamy avocado cilantro lime sauce or a tangy chipotle crema

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 420 degrees
  2. In a large plastic bag combine olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice and spices
  3. Add steak to bag and turn to coat  *if you have the time, allow steak to marinade
  4. Cook steak on foil-lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes, then broil for 2 minutes
  5. Use meat thermometer to check for doneness, 150 for medium
  6. Let steak rest about 10 minutes
  7. Slice across the grain
  8. Warm tortillas in a skillet or air fryer
  9. Top warm tortillas w/steak, pico, and sauce
