But we’re not stopping there – this masterpiece is taken to the next level by serving it over a bed of pasta. And for those looking to add a protein boost, we recommend reaching for protein pasta.

In the spirit of making life simpler, we’ve crafted a recipe that goes beyond the dinner table – it’s your ticket to a hassle-free evening. Prep this beauty ahead of time, pop it into the freezer, and voila – a delicious, home-cooked meal awaits you whenever you need it. This dish is insanely easy, ensuring that your kitchen endeavors are always a joy, never a chore.

Ingredients for Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan Pasta

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 TBSP minced garlic
  • 1 TBSP Italian seasoning mix
  • ½ Cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 24oz Jar of Rao’s marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Spaghetti noodles (Use a protein pasta to make this a high protein meal)
  • Salad for serving

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except pasta and mozzarella cheese to slow cooker
  2. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours until chicken is fully cooked and shreds easily. 
  3. Turn off slow cooker and shred chicken. 
  4. Add mozzarella cheese, cover, and allow cheese to melt while you prepare the pasta. (grab my favorite clip-on strainer)
  5. Serve chicken over prepared pasta. 
  6. Add a side salad to complete the meal.

Meal Prep Instructions

Prepare

  • Add all ingredients except mozzarella cheese and pasta to a freezer bag. (these bag holders make things so much easier)
  • Add mozzarella cheese to a sandwich bag and put inside the freezer bag.
  • Freeze.

To Cook

  • Thaw 12-24 hours in fridge. 
  • Cook on High in your slow cooker for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6. 
  • Shred the chicken.
  • Turn off the crockpot and top with mozzarella cheese. 
  • Cover and allow the cheese to melt while you prepare the noodles. 
  • Serve chicken over noodles and add a salad on the side.
