If you’re like me and enjoy cutting corners without sacrificing flavor, you’ll love how convenient these little bites are. Just grab a pack of Walmart brownie bites, and you’re halfway there. To take these treats to the next level, you’ll whip up a batch of homemade buttercream frosting. Using a KitchenAid stand mixer makes the process so easy—you’ll have perfectly whipped, velvety frosting in just minutes. (Check out my favorite KitchenAid stand mixer here!) Course Dessert

Ingredients

  • Pre-made brownie bites from Walmart
  • Butter cream frosting recipe below
  • Festive toppings like strawberries, raspberries, and Valentine’s Day candy

Buttercream Frosting:

  • 1 1/2 cups Unsalted Butter room temperature
  • 4 1/2 to 5 cups powdered sugar or added to taste
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt or to taste
  • 4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 Tbsp heavy cream or whole milk added to desired consistency

Instructions

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or handheld electric mixer), beat butter on high speed for 5 minutes or until lightened in color and whipped, scraping down the bowl as needed.
  • Sift powdered sugar.
  • Change to paddle attachment, reduce mixer to medium-low speed and add powdered sugar one spoonful at a time, letting it incorporate with each addition. Add powdered sugar to taste and beat until it is fully combined, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Add salt and vanilla and beat until incorporated.
  • Add heavy cream or milk, 1 TBSP at a time until you reach the desired consistency. Beat another minute until whipped and well combined.

Assemble:
